Web Of Spider-Man became the third title devoted solely to Spider-Man, shortly after replacing Marvel Team-Up in 1985. Right away, the title featured the infamous black costume which later became the villain known as Venom. The title took on several themes of it's own over the years before just "one of the spider-books". Behind both Amazing Spider-Man and Spectacular Spider-Man, Web was the least popular of the Spider-Titles, with probably the least significant storylines. There were a number of memorable moments however, beginning with the black alien costume storyline in the debut issue. The introduction of the Vulturions in issue #2-3, the possible first appearance of Venom/ Eddie Brock in issue #19, the Wolverine appearance in issue #29, the running Kraven storyline in issue #31-32, the Blood Rose saga, and many more. Web Of Spider-Man also had it's share of the Clone Saga up until the very last issue, #129. After the series ended, Web Of Scarlet Spider ran for four issues, and Web Of Spider-Man was forever gone.
