5/63 Amazing Spider-Man #2 1st Appearance of The Vulture and origin & first battle with Spider-Man. |
The Vulture modified his harness a bit and fought Spidey again in Amazing Spider-Man #7 then he joined the Sinister Six, a team that he would later join again a couple of times...He also was part of the Sinister Seven (From Spider-Man Unlimited #9 & 10)...The Vulture revealed his costumed abilities & the whereabouts of another harness to a cellmate when in prison...This man, Blackie Drago, became the second Vulture and was later defeated by the real deal! |

The Vulture temporarily retired then came out of it to seek revenge on his former research partner, Gregory Bestman, who embezzled him out of a lot of money...Seems the Vulture should have patented the harness he wears!...Yet more criminals have simulated his flight & power capable harness and this time they called themselves the Vulturions...They didn't last too long either as both Spidey and the Vulture put an end to them real fast! |
| The Vulture has not strayed TOO much outside the "Spider-verse" in the Marvel Universe, but the most prominent "outside" appearance he has made was against the New Mutants...The Sinister Six was later revived several times and the Vulture played a major part in it including killing Spider-Man's Aunt May's fiancée Nathan Lubensky. |  |

For a relatively short period of time, The Vulture found the "Fountain Of Youth" & regained his youth, giving Spider-Man a stronger foe than before!...The Vulture recently had his Origin revamped and it now ties into the great powers that Norman Osborn, AKA the Green Goblin, has had for a long time!...Most recently, The Vulture once again has gotten together with the Sinister Six, but even by himself, he will always be near the top of foes Spider-Man fears most! |
