Gordon was first thought as just another wack-job villain when introduced in Spider-Man V2 #23, but with the added origin and past history of the character revealed in Spider-Man V2 #24, a side of Typeface is introduced that made you feel for the character...As a result of a war, he returned home labeled as a baby killer with no one to love and very alone...Losing his job as a sign smith put him over the edge and took on the guise of Typeface...He went on a couple of vengeful rampages until he remembered his late friend from the war's last words to "Just Live"...He then went on to help Spidey against a Brll'Nah alien race that took on the form of a spider. |
