Origin: Leland was once a financier sought by the IRS for fraud...He then sought after becoming a major Crimelord. After numerous defeats, he became stricken by a debilitating ailment that made him unable to walk or stand without a brace or exoskeleton...His legs were eventually paralyzed and his exoskeleton was repaired by the Terrible Tinkerer which also enabled him walk once again

The Owl has always been at or near the top of list of Daredevil's enemy's but he has also "branched" out into other hero's territories...Of course Spider-Man is one of them as they have been involved in numerable storylines...The Doctor Octopus/ Gang War storyline that played out in Spectacular Spider-Man #73-75 also involved the Black Cat and Kingpin has been possibly the most memorable...After a couple of run ins in Marvel Team-Up (#73 & 98) & other appearances, the Owl was involved in possibly a more memorable storyline in the Daredevil/ Spider-Man limited series. |
